De AMA is een vereniging voor personen met een medische (gerelateerde) achtergrond die affiniteit hebben met een of meerdere eilanden van de voormalig Nederlandse Antillen. Ons voornaamste doel is om een overzicht te creëren van de nodige medische beroepen op de ABC-eilanden om zo studenten en medici, die na hun studie/opleiding in het buitenland terug willen keren, een indicatie te geven wat hun opties zijn. Daarnaast streven we ernaar om als netwerk te fungeren voor onze leden. Om zo kennis met elkaar uit te wisselen alsook te stimuleren dat deze kennis terug keert naar de eilanden.
