Ahmedabad Management Association

The Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA) is a prominent promoter and founding member of the All India Management Association (AIMA), the apex body for the management profession in India. AMA actively collaborates and participates in AIMA’s educational and professional activities across the country. As an ISO 9001 certified organization, AMA is recognized by the Government of Gujarat as an approved institute for Management Training. Over the years, AMA has been honored with the Best Local Management Association Award (Category-I) by AIMA 16 times (from 1990 to 2008) for its outstanding contributions to professional management. In addition, AMA received the National Excellence Award in 2009-10, acknowledging its innovative programs and significant impact on professional management. Situated in a prestigious area of Ahmedabad, the AMA Management Complex, established in 1997, spans 30,000 square meters. It is surrounded by renowned institutes such as IIM, ATIRA, PRL, Gujarat University, B K School of Management, L D Engineering College, and Polytechnic College. Throughout its nearly fifty-seven years of existence, AMA has conducted numerous programs, benefiting a vast number of individuals and organizations. Today, AMA is highly respected and recognized across various sectors, including business, profession, industry, government, and academia, not just in Ahmedabad or Gujarat but all over India. From a modest beginning with a handful of members in 1956, AMA now boasts around 400 institutional members and over 3000 individual members. These members converge on this platform to exchange ideas, information, and experiences, thereby enriching their managerial skills and competence. AMA’s programs are always tailored to meet the needs of its audience. To ensure maximum participation, we offer quality services and programs at nominal fees, which is our unique selling proposition (USP).
