America’s Frontier Fund (AFF) is dedicated to harnessing the promise of frontier technologies for a stronger America. Our work spans across three business verticals: an investment platform that backs founders building the next industrial revolution, a network of venture studios that are creating breakthrough frontier technologies, and a nonprofit foundation dedicated to re-awakening America's innovation base.
AFF was founded to build the capacity needed for America to endure as the world’s best place for innovators to reach for new frontiers. We aim to catalyze a whole-of-nation effort to transform the American economy by working across the “full-stack” of innovation – from federal policy at the top layer, down to scientists working on cutting edge R&D at the bottom layer.
By taking a comprehensive view of America’s innovation system, we seek to identify critical gaps, build novel tools and institutions to fill them, and create feedback loops across the public, private, and philanthropic sector to continuously improve America’s innovation system.
