Amke Agalia’s mission is to elevate social cohesion through integrated actions and projectbased activities focused on free community psychiatry that aim at promoting the mental health wellbeing of, amongst others, the most disadvantaged groups at risk of marginalization and exclusion, while promoting and protecting the rights of various types of population groups that face discrimination. The vision and activities of "Amke Agalia" include:
* the development and provision of high-level mental health services with respect for the individual and their strengths;
* awareness raising in the community;
*promotion of preventative measures;
* activities and services to defend, educate and highlight the rights of people with psychosocial difficulties, combatting social discrimination and the stigma of mental health;
* promotion of professional rehabilitation / reintegration of people with psychosocial difficulties;
* psychosocial rehabilitation services - operation of several community-based units
