Andes New Varieties Administration (ANA Chile®) nace en 1998 como fruto de la sinergia de cuatro empresas, líderes en el rubro viverístico, con el fin de proporcionar a la industria frutícola nuevas alternativas que contribuyan a mejorar su competitividad mediante las siguientes estrategias:
Representación de licencias locales y extranjeras.
Creación de variedades frutales propias.
Desarrollo comercial de estas a nivel nacional e internacional.
Desde entonces ha generado potentes redes de desarrollo varietal de nivel mundial, siendo pioneros en la puesta en marcha de programas de mejoramiento genético.
