En el año 2002, creamos la empresa privada Investigación y Tecnología de Uva de Mesa, S.L. (ITUM) cuyo principal objetivo es la obtención y desarrollo de nuevas variedades de uva de mesa apirenas.
La empresa está compuesta por 24 socios de la Región de Murcia, que suponen más del 95% de productores de la Región.
En el proyecto trabajamos de forma conjunta el @IMIDA (Instituto Murciano de Investigaciones Agrarias) e ITUM ( Investigación y tecnología de uva de mesa).
