Another Closet aims to save the planet’s resources by helping the Fashion Industry to transition its business model from linear to circular - from selling to renting out merchandise.
The problem? When selling clothes companies cover expenses and secure profit margins immediately, whereas the profit potential for rentals takes longer to materialise and is therefore associated with bigger uncertainty and risk. Little or no data has been collected in existing systems to shed light on rental performance and profitability, which prevents companies from justifying the risk and expanding their services.
Our solution is that we provide a cloud-based rental optimisation tool which enables companies which are new to clothing rental to easily get started, and existing services to profitably grow their business. The data and analysis provided allow companies to accurately determine profitable renting options and optimise their rental choices and services. The network effect of accumulated data from multiple clients will increase the value and accuracy of the service exponentially.
