Antara International is a non-profit registered in the US, with an aim to mobilize funds for deploying large-scale public health innovations.
Our focus is preventive health especially within the domain of maternal and child health, and nutrition. Currently, Antara International’s funds are used to support on-ground activities of its partner organization, The Antara Foundation (TAF), a non-profit registered in India.
TAF works through a range of solutions that strengthen the rural health system (e.g., enabling data-use among frontline health workers, enhancing labor rooms, improving skills of delivery nurses) and increasing demand for health services (e.g., mobilizing women’s groups to increase awareness among rural communities, creating village-level change agents). The work is carried out in partnership with respective governments, and in close collaboration with the local communities.
