Antica Pesa Brooklyn is a company based out of 115 Berry St, Brooklyn, New York, United States. Located in the neighborhood of Williamsburg, Antica Pesa Brooklyn opened in 2012 as the Panella family’s first outpost of their fourth generation family-owned restaurant in Rome, Italy. The Panella family was drawn to Williamsburg as they felt this location paid homage to their Roman home: this New York neighborhood is located on the other side of a river which faces the heart of the city, just like Trastevere, the neighborhood of their restaurants’ original location. Williamsburg and Trastevere are both bustling neighborhoods which have forged their character through transformation, and reflect Antica Pesa’s own evolution over the last century.
