AoiShip

AoiShip was the world's first global e-commerce marketplace to connect Influencers with curated fashion from Japan. Built on a Ruby on Rails framework powered by Solidus, the platform listed over 100 Japanese fashion brands with over 1,500+ SKUs in inventory, made available for purchase online to ship globally while motivating Influencers overseas to earn income by sharing social media content that was also integrated with AoiShip's e-commerce shopping experience. In January 2020, AoiShip had fundraised pre-seed investment from Prada-sponsored accelerator Startupbootcamp FashionTech based in Milan, Italy. In June 2020, AoiShip ceased operations due to the impact on its business and operations after the arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic.
