Apollo are Sheffields only FORS Silver accredited same day courier company. In October 2013 Apollo Distribution Solutions (Sheffield) Ltd were proud to gain FORS accreditation. August 2014 this was upgraded to Silver due to our commitment to road safety, the environment and efficiency. What this means; All our drivers have completed the ‘Safe Urban Driving’ course and are committed to improving safety on the road for all road users. We are now a Crossrail-compliant company and authorised to make deliveries onto any Crossrail site. All our drivers are trained in Defensive and Green Driving in order to make the roads a cleaner and safer place for all who use them. We now have a company wide quality management system which embraces an ethos of 360o review and a cycle of continuous improvement. In order to maintain this accreditation we are externally audited on an annual basis. Our fleet ranges from small vans right up to 7.5t trucks meaning we can deliver anything from a single envelope up to 2.4ts of palletised goods. We also have several vehicles with tail-lifts for those awkward deliveries where loading and un-loading can be a problem.
