Applied Design & Architecture (ADA) is an architectural and creative design studio based in Sheffield. We have never set out to have a specific style for the studio and we firmly believe what makes a successful project is having a clear definition of expectations, goals and outcomes from the outset, being realistic of what can/ cannot be achieved, and getting the right information to the right person(s) at the right time. We can guide you through the process and share our two pennies' worth, minimising any potential stress, uncertainty and costly mistakes so you can focus on other stuffs that matter. At Applied Design & Architecture, we get very excited about typography, visual design and transforming older buildings into healthy, purposeful, accessible and engaging places where people can find joy and comfort. To us, it’s not just about Grand Designs - each project is unique regardless of its size. We live in a media-induced hyper-stylised culture, and it’s easy to get caught up in those glossy images displayed on design/ home décor social media platforms. Rather than seduced by fads and fashions, our design will be guided by the context, your values & personality, your budget and needs. Whatever your design challenge is, we’ll take the time to get to know the context and everyone we work with, letting our designs be led by you, your vision, your needs and specification. We listen, we ask questions and challenge your expectations, we investigate opportunities, explore possibilities and work with you to co-create customised designs.
