We provide a friendly, bespoke, architectural design and CAD support service for architects, developers, estates and facilities managers, capital project managers and similar built environment teams across a wide range of sectors including healthcare, education, retail, residential and commercial projects or institutions. The business is operated by Carl Sedgwick, a senior architect who has over 25 years’ experience working in private architectural practice prior to establishing CS Architecture and Design Ltd in 2014. Additional support is provided by a select team of similarly experienced architects and technologists engaged on a flexible consultancy basis to suit the resourcing needs and skill requirements for each project or appointment. Our services are individually tailored to suit a client’s specific needs covering a diverse range of skills. For Architects and Developers we can provide: Traditional architectural support through all stages of the RIBA plan of work from strategic planning to handover. This may be for the duration of a project, a particular project stage or, a short-term appointment to address a temporary resource gap. For Estates, Facilities and Capital Project teams we can provide: Design support, Building Information Modelling (BIM) and general CAD support, including integration with Micad property management software, for all aspects of estates and facilities management and capital project planning. This typically includes, estates strategies, space planning, capital project design support, lease plans, valuation plans, compliance plans, fire plans and management of record information using historical drawings, O&M’s and check surveys.
