Applied Science and Technologies Inc. (ASTI) was founded in 2015 in the State of Colorado. ASTI is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). ASTI is owned and operated by Mr. David Bennett who was previously with Scientific Research Corporation (SRC) from 2000-2016. ASTI provides services to: Department of Homeland Security Department of Defense Office of the Secretary of Defense NASA Special Operations Command FEMA Defense Intelligence Agency National Science Foundation National Health Institute ASTI founder background: Mr. Bennett has over 30 year’s experience in the US Air Force and currently serves as the Director of Strategic Initiatives and the Joint Staff, Virginia National Guard. He previously served as the J-6 for the State of Virginia and is a certified Air Battle Manager and Joint Interface Control Officer. His operational experience is at the Joint Task Force Level, Operational Level (Air Operations Center), and the tactical level (Air Force Ground TACS). He has served over 25 years in the Defense Industry, specializing in business development, management, and commercializing technologies by moving them through the various Technology Readiness Levels (TRL). Mr. Bennett currently serves as the CEO of Pitch Aeronautics. Pitch Aeronautics is developing a drone capable of industrial inspections and support to government agencies.
