The AGE-WELL National Innovation Hub: Advancing Policies and Practices in Technology and Aging (APPTA) supports governments in generating opportunities to address the policy and practice challenges of an aging
population so that all Canadians have access to optimal care across the country.
More specifically, our mission is to support government and policy-makers in adopting best practices, services and programs for Canada’s aging population by:
[1] Bridging the knowledge translation gap by connecting researchers and policy-makers in the development of innovative solutions;
[2] Creating opportunities for knowledge exchange between Canadian jurisdictions; and
[3] Fostering an environment of innovation and collaboration.
