Ariel Ostad MD PC

Dr. Ariel Ostad is a board-certified Dermatologist, Dermatologic Surgeon and Cosmetic Surgeon, Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. He has been in practice for 23 years at his own private practice, Ariel Ostad MD PC, located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. He performs Cosmetic, Laser and Dermatologic procedures. Currently, he is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Dermatology and member of the Board of Governors for NYU School of Medicine as well as President of the Alumni Association. In addition, he is a course instructor for the American Academy of Dermatology, where he is called to frequently lecture on laser surgery and skin cancer. Dr. Ostad cowrote, Practical Management of Skin Cancer with fellow renowned doctors - Ronald L. Moy and Daniel P. Taheri. Dr. Ostad received his B.A. Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa in 1987 from New York University. In 1991, he received his M.D. from New York University School of Medicine. Later on, he completed an internal medicine internship at Harvard Medical School, and also completed his residency in Dermatology at New York University Medical Center in 1995. In addition, he completed his fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery, Laser and Cosmetic Surgery at UCLA.
