Simon Webb formed Artisan Restoration Ltd, having spent 26 years managing works in the field of stonework and the restoration of historic facades and monuments. With extensive experience of Cleaning, Restoration & repair, Dismantling & Façade reconfiguration, along with the New-build Cladding and the Landscaping market, Artisan Restoration can service all of your external stone and masonry requirements.
The name Artisan was chosen to reflect the quality of our supply chain and labour resources that are experienced, qualified, and aware of the requirements of working on listed and landmark buildings. We are equipped to deal with works involving natural limestone, ornate brickwork including glazed and red rubber specials, terracotta, faience, cast stone and stucco/renders. With trained and experienced cleaners, we can provide Jos and Torc cleaning, Doff and other proprietary hot wash systems, paint and graffiti removal, along with the traditional mason’s water cleaning processes.
Our craftspeople are trained to work to the standards expected by English Heritage and Conservation officers and Simon is directly involved in ensuring these standards are maintained at all times.
Artisan Restoration can provide technical and cost advice for repair and maintenance strategies which can be followed up with comprehensive budgets and competitive tender submissions.
