It has a State of the Art Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Assembly facility at Daman. It offers support in Component Sourcing, Design Development of PCB and PCB Assembly/ EMS services. Established in the year 1982 as Product Solution Enterprise, Asha Electronics tied up with Philips for manufacturing its Audio range of Products like Radios, Tape Recorders, Portable Headphone Stereos (Walkman) & Radio Recorders for its Consumer Electronics division. Satisfied by the services, Philips added its Domestic Appliances Range of Citrus Juicer & Coffee Maker to be made by Asha Electronics. Later on, Hi-tech LCD Projectors & LCD Monitors were also made for Philips. Asha Electronics diversified into making Telephones for Tatafone a leading Electronic Push Button Telephone ( EPBT ) manufacturer of Basic Telephones and Feature Phones. Refurbishment services for Wireless Phones were done for Tata Teleservices. Free to Air Set-Top Boxes ( STB ) have also been assembled at the Daman Plant. The Manufacturing Plants now also offer Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS), PCB Assembly with Surface Mount Technology (SMD) including ROHS/lead-free in West India on Turnkey & Job-work basis for Single layer, Multilayer & Flexi PCB’s to Medical, Automotive, Lighting, LED Drivers, LED MCPCB, Energy Meter, Instrumentation & Telecom sectors.
