Founded in 1994 with humble beginnings by the current chairman, Mr.Ashok Kumar, who was looking to get into an industry that would have a long-term social impact. He felt that healthcare was the best industry to serve the people of his country, therefore he envisioned an organization that would be able to bring quality medication to people to all parts of the nation and subsequently other ASEAN countries. He established the firm at a time where there was no reliable medication or value for money, and this gave rise to the company’s commitment to only promoting quality medication, at a justifiable price point and with strong medical education on how to use the products for medical professionals. These honest efforts lead to Ashro becoming one of the top healthcare firms in Myanmar. This encouraged the company to bring the same class of service to other sectors because all one needs is the will to do excellence!
