Established in 2006 by ASEAN domestic payment switches with the support from respective ASEAN Central Banks. APN is closely associated with ASEAN Central Bank initiatives (WC-PSS) and respective countries’ central banks to establish an efficient, cost effective and secure cross border retail payment infrastructure.
The mission of APN is to facilitate growth and advancement of the APN members and their stakeholders through the establishments of common standards, guidelines and collaborative regional efforts for the domestic and regional switching, clearing and settlement of all innovative and trans-formative digital payment services.
Throughout its members, APN provides a seamless payment connectivity through a common payment standard that leverages existing technology and a common shared infrastructure to:
