The Section on Korean Public Administration (SKPA) was established on May 1, 2010 with the approval of ASPA’s National Council. It consists of scholars and professionals from the U.S., South Korea, and other countries. SKPA collaborates with both the Korean Association for Public Administration (KAPA) and the Korean Institute of Public Administration (KIPA), and facilitates cooperation with the schools of public affairs and administration (and policy) in South Korea and their counterparts in the U.S. Also, SKPA endeavors to effectively advance the profession, extend its influence and create opportunities for individual practitioners and scholars. By becoming an SKPA member, you will enjoy; 1. A subscription to the International Review of Public Administration (IRPA Journal); 2. Opportunities to participate in scholarly and professional development through seminars, conferences, workshops, and exchange programs; 3. Access to opportunities to enter into dialogues with South Korea, U.S. and other public administration professionals; 4. The Section Newsletter 5. Other services as suggested by SKPA members. To be a member of SKPA, you must be a member of ASPA. If you have recently renewed your ASPA membership, or you become a new ASPA member, annual dues are $9.00 for SKPA.
