About Aspire and Thrive
Aspire and Thrive Therapeutic Mentoring & Educational Services At Aspire and Thrive, we provide trauma-informed and therapeutically themed mentoring and educational services for children and young people presenting with social, emotional, and mental health needs. Our support is typically delivered one-to-one within the community, with each session lasting three hours. Group-based options are also available on request. We provide transport to and from each mentoring space, ensuring children and young people are safely collected and returned. A Safe, Consistent, and Containing Practice Aspire and Thrive is committed to a consistent, whole-service approach grounded in a safeguarding ethos and a safe, containing culture. We place children's and young people's mental health and well-being at the centre of everything we do. Our colleagues work in a trauma-informed, attachment-aware, and therapeutic way—ensuring that young people feel safe, understood, and respected. We believe that as caring and nurturing adults, we are responsible for helping guide young people into adulthood. Emotional intelligence development is integrated into all our programmes, enabling children and young people to: Understand their emotions Recognise how internal states affect communication and behaviour Develop strategies for safe self-expression and regulation Emotionally Safe Environments We are attuned to young people’s emotional needs and respond with consistency, clarity, and compassion. Our team explains what we do and why we do it, building trust through honesty and follow-through. We create emotionally safe spaces and strive to prevent re-traumatisation through thoughtful policies, safeguarding, and person-centred practices. Every intervention is shaped by the individual needs of the child or young person and is designed to protect and promote their opportunity to learn, grow, and engage. Psychologically Informed Practice Working alongside clinical psychologists and behaviour sp
