At The Mentoring Project we have big dreams and even bigger goals. We proudly help in the development and mentoring of children, adolescents and the adults who work in the education and care sector. We work in Schools, PRUs, APU,s, Youth Clubs and anywhere else that will allow us support the development of Children and Young People. We believe in supporting Children with their SEMH to then help them achieve the best possible outcomes for them. Our aim is to improve development and to support children and young adolescents in our communities whilst acknowledging their struggles and supporting their needs. It is crucial to train and develop staff on supporting children and adolescents who struggle with their emotional, social and mental health. By enriching their knowledge and supplying them with the right tools we can positively change the lives of many children and adolescents. The Mentoring Project works jointly with local authorities, children’s residential homes and schools in the training and development of adults who work with children. We believe the best way to train and progress adults is through empowerment. I have been training teams for over ten years and we provide a good balance of learning from course material’s which is continuously updated, as well as staff sharing experiences and their learning journeys, thus empowering them to reflect on their own skills, as well as newfound skills to improve positive experiences for children.
