ASSCOD Founded in the year 1994 is a voulantry organisation that works for the deserving community especially the rural and tribal community.
Our focus areas are women empowerment, livelihood development, education, hygiene and health of the tribal community.
We have so far benefitted more than 50000 women with our Micro finance project to create their own livelihood.
We beleive that if we economically empower rural/tribal women below poverty line to lead their families it will part a way to bring prosperity to the Community.
We work in 3 districts of Tamilnadu which is Chengalpattu, Kancheepuram and Thiruvannamalai .
We have recently started a trust for the tribal community called Wings to fly which will empower the tribal women to improve their livelihood using interest free micro loan facility.
Some of our partners are Sun Pharmacueticals, Omega Healthcare ,Give India,HDFC Small grants, Benevity,Schneider Electric and Omprakash.
