Assorted Table Wine & Shop was founded in 2012 by Joshua Villapando. We pride ourselves on our eclectic selection, our quirky extras, and most importantly our customer service. We may not be the biggest, but we are the coolest. On our shelves, you’ll find wines from all corners of the world, Sake, beer, collectibles, action figures, bicycles, art prints….We pack as much as possible into our “walk-in closet” sized shop in The Market at 7th St (formerly 7th St Public Market)! Visit us in person Tuesday through Sunday or fill out our online order form for curbside pick up any day of the week. Continuing education and professional development are key building blocks for any wine professional, and Josh stays current. Understanding the modern wine landscape requires immersion in the trade. From exploring the regions of Italy to winding up the coast of California, Josh typically stays at the wineries themselves when traveling. And whether it’s Pinot Noir ‘Boot Camp’ in Oregon or touring wineries in Portugal, it’s always about the juice. Currently, Josh is pursuing a degree in Enology & Viticulture at Surry Community College in Dobson, NC. When not slinging wine, Josh can be found playing Hot Wheels with his son, supporting (and smooching!) his beautiful wife, Jenny (a highly respected restaurant professional in her own right), on a bicycle flinging himself down a mountain in Western North Carolina, or pop-and-locking in an old-school breakdance showdown.
