ATA Mute B.V. is a spin-off from TU/e, specializing in high-tech solutions for Acoustic and Thermo-Acoustic noise Mutation challenges. ATA Mute benefits from a strong foundation in acoustics and thermo-acoustics research. The company was founded by TU/e, with three TU/e professors and one young entrepreneur as co-founders in March 2023. ATA Mute's core focus is centered around providing novel, robust, and cost-effective solutions for a diverse array of acoustic, thermo-acoustic, and fluid-dynamic noise pollution issues. At the heart of ATA Mute's technology lies the revolutionary Anechoic Broadband Compact (ABC) mufflers, the result of 20 years of research at TU/e's thermo-acoustic group and representing one of the world's leading advancements in combustion thermo-acoustics. Three patent applications have been filed regarding the ABC mufflers. The main mission of ATA Mute is to provide design services for OEMs to scale the impact on the energy transition and contribute to a more sustainable future for people.
