Athensknitlab is committed to ethical manufacturing , sustainable & eco- friendly materials while aiming to create original, human friendly , customizable & state-of the art products. 3D Knitting , the latest sustainable and innovative flat bed knitting technology , is at the core of AKL's modus operandi. With 3D Knitting technology, products are knitted-to-shape , waste is reduced significantly and also form and functional characteristics are optimised through zonal knitting and combining different patterns and structures within single piece constructed fabrics . 3D Knitting promotes ethical manufacturing through minimising waste , production time and after-care requirements . Expanding knowledge and capacity is an ongoing goal for our team .
