In 2014, Atrium Health & Senior Living selected Kevin P. Breslin as managing member, and is co-chairman and co-chief executive officer along with William G. Burris, furthering the company’s commitment to steady growth and to leading the senior care industry. The company also expanded its services through the addition of a construction division, Burris Construction Company of Moorestown, New Jersey. This relationship brought the Burris family’s design-build expertise to Atrium Post Acute Care, with a focus on the construction of B Well Post Acute Centers, a Burris Construction design concept that focuses solely on post acute care with an emphasis on wellness. The first B Well Post Acute Care Center opened in Hamilton, New Jersey in February 2015.
The end of 2014 marked a pivotal moment for Atrium Health & Senior Living with its expansion into Michigan and Wisconsin through the acquisition of 17 skilled nursing centers and six senior living communities from Rice Health Care Facilities, Inc., and its affiliates.
