Atty Records is a newborn record label from Seattle that has one purpose in life... To build a brand that is dedicated to supporting a culture of sport , fashion, and punk rock music! Started by two brothers Kevin and Ryan Atkins, Atty Recs gets its influence mainly from notable hip-hop labels such as Deathrow, Bad Boy, and Rock-A-Fella among others... Why hip-hop labels?..because they're f*$k'n cool!...but really the reason is that hip-hop labels tend to be more than just labels...they're images and have a purpose that goes beyond simply selling music. . .they represent an ideal bigger than itself, the artist, or even the music...something everyone people want to be a part of...both artists and fans. Similarly, Atty aims to be more than just a record label...it represents an ideal and wants to be synonymous with a life style inspired by the punk music it produces helps inspire. Other elements of that life style include fashion, sport and pretty much anything else that makes more sense set to a punk rock soundtrack... music x ( fashion + sport ) = life Atty Recs' first release will be the debut EP from new Seattle band elude. Currently in its final stages of recording, the EP is scheduled for a mostly digital release in February 2011. Look for it...
