Auscol, a division of GrainCorp, is renowned as being one of Australia’s leading storage and collectors of Used Cooking Oil (UCO). Servicing key regional and metropolitan areas from Cairns to Tasmania and Perth to Sydney, Auscol enables waste oil to be stored, collected (free of charge) and upcycled into environmentally friendly biofuel.
Auscol collects and upcycles almost 24m litres of Used Cooking Oil each year, equivalent to approx 11 Olympic swimming pools of oil.
The majority of customers are provided with either stainless steel pour-in mobile bulk tanks or larger eco vacuum tanks. Each of these come in varying sizes depending on the amount of used cooking oil generated. All tanks are purpose-built with a strong emphasis on quality, ease of handling and safety.
Auscol is one of only two businesses nationally to achieve the highest level of environmental accreditation – International Sustainability & Carbon Certification. ISCC contributes to the implementation of environmentally, socially and economically sustainable production and use of all kinds of biomass in global supply chains.
