A collaboration between Rothschild & Co Merchant Banking and Jennifer Yu (formerly Chairwoman of Rothschild & Co Greater China), Auster Capital is an independent global private equity firm dedicated to investing in European businesses with an Asia angle. We are defined by a lively international streak, a shared respect for risk and a passion for investing behind the global ambitions of bold management teams and founders. We are currently investing our $650m Fund I into three sectors: Industrial Tech, Healthcare & Life Sciences and Consumer Products. We write equity tickets of $50-150m and pride ourselves on being highly flexible, being able to underwrite majority and minority buyouts, growth capital and structured equity. We empower our management teams to quickly build traction in Asia, particularly in China, regarding their go-to-market strategy, supply chain resilience and regulatory overwatch.
