Our newest extension is in the health and wellness market and 4 products address the myriad diseases of nutrition. The bundle is promoted as the Holy Grail to Health and it says what it does. This might be their new and appealing flavours, their antioxidant value, cosmetic activity or other health and wellness benefits. Some of our products and research into them have yielded award winning spin off products (not necessarily 100% wild food components). Some examples include Herbal-Active® and Fresher4Longer natural food rinse which won the Australian Food Industry Innovation Award for 2013 for their antimicrobial efficacy as a natural product. Another recent development are our Skews® which are flavour-infused skewers for grilling and baking. This innovation is now licensed for Australian and New Zealand distribution. Blends and extracts of functional wild foods are also used in Kakadu Complex® and Kalari Crush®, two rich sources of antioxidants, anti-inflammatories and other phytonutrients used in boosting health and wellness and addressing the diseases of nutrition so prevalent today.
