As most professionals in the industry know, the meaning of the 'strut' in the 'Austrut' company name refers to the structural component designed to resist longitudinal compression. Struts provide outwards-facing support in their lengthwise direction, which can be used to keep two other components separate. The name was chosen to reflect the company's mission statement, to be a pillar of strength and support to all its' clients. Formed in 2012, Austrut is managed by leading Australian structural engineer Tony Jammal. With offices based in Sydney and connections in Dubai, Austrut is able to service the needs of a global market.
