Investing on behalf of institutional investors, family offices and high net worth investors, AEA targets investments for its clients that offer risk adjusted returns in operational real estate assets.
AEA was founded in 2012 by Donald Wilson, our Chairman, who, as a principal operated as a real estate developer and facility operator, creating portfolios of approximately $1.2 billion in real estate and capitalizing 14 healthcare service operating companies through direct alignment with physicians and healthcare systems. Through these experiences, AEA is able to be a premier healthcare alternative investment asset manager and create value for its partners.
