Georgia Martin focuses her research and creative innovations on sustainability development. In March of 2022, Georgia created the idea of the Aware App during her studies in Reutlingen, Germany.
Aware is an application service that focuses on tracking individual's CO2 emissions through the applications on their electronic devices. Transportation applications such as Delta, Food applications such as Grubhub, and Shopping applications such as Amazon are used daily without thought of CO2 emissions emitted. Aware will be able to track the production and transportation aspects of the emissions to create user's individual awareness.
Communities will also be created within Aware, so corporations and schools can support and encourage carbon neutrality. When goals are completed, incentives form partnerships will be offered.
Although Aware is in the developing stages of its product development, Aware has been successful globally and awarded twice from XOCO Unlimited and Innoport Pitch Competition.
