Baad-e-Sabaa

In the wake of COVID-19, a couple of young individuals from different corners of the world came together to instill hope, reimagine their respective communities, and take action to bring about systems-level change. With the constant reminder of the bigger picture, and the idea that “every single one of us is a work in progress and never simply a piece of work”, the team in Pakistan decided to put things into perspective, and here we are. The name of our initiative, Baad-e-Sabaa, therefore is symbolic of the backing we have had so far and what we hope to get from our nation. “Baad-e-Sabaa” signifies the gentle Eastern wind or breeze that blows in the morning - that’s the light at the end of the tunnel for us. With all the bittersweet moments of 2020, we are all here trying to remind the youth that the future is in their hands. Together, we are the future. Together, we will make a difference.
