Global Shapers Lahore

Born out of the World Economic Forum, the Global Shapers Community is a network of inspiring young people under the age of 27 working together to address local, regional and global challenges. Currently, the Global Shapers Community spans 481 city-based hubs in 149 countries. In each city, Shapers self-organize to create projects that address the needs of their community. The Lahore Hub has worked on projects focused on reclaiming public spaces, fighting climate change and building resilient and inclusive communities. All Shapers are diverse in expertise, education, income and race, but are united by their desire to bring about change. Through the Global Shapers Community, youth have an opportunity to connect with the worldwide network of 14,000+ Global Shapers and Alumni, network with other World Economic Forum communities, and represent the voice of youth at World Economic Forum events. *The Global Shapers Community is one of many multi-stakeholder impact communities of the World Economic Forum. Other communities include the Young Global Leaders, the Global Agenda Councils, and the Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurs.
