BABEL Journal

BABEL is a student-led journal based in the School of Architecture and Environment at UWE Bristol. It focuses on discussions of subjects linked to the wider field of architecture and the built environment. The fundamental aim of this journal is to provide a platform for the voice of students across multiple courses and collate ideas and dialogues around architecture, design and the built environment. BABEL aspires to become a place where students and academics can present highlights, projects, ideas and collaborative experiments and engage in discussions of current topics. Additionally, the journal aims to collate commentaries of current issues, contributing to the discourse of architectural education, industry and wider design communities. We currently welcome submissions for written text, illustrated articles and other visual media that best represent your ideas and can be showcased on the website. Regardless of what subject you study, we encourage submissions of any projects, research or essays for our project showcase; and thought-provoking articles and ideas, exhibition, events or study trips can be submitted for our student blog or articles pages.
