The British Association of Critical Care Nurses - BACCN - is one of the leading organisations in critical care nursing. BACCN was established in 1985 and has grown and developed through the hard work and dedication of its members, regional committees and National Board. BACCN Mission The British Association of Critical Care Nurses is a leading non-profit organisation dedicated to the promotion of nursing in critical care. We aim to: 1. Provide a National voice to shape the strategy for critical care nursing. 2. Promote safe, quality evidence based nursing care to the critically ill patient. 3.
