Back Neck and Joint

Our name describes what we do, we look after people with long-term back neck and joint pain. As a group of doctors we have combined skills across musculoskeletal injury and degenerative disorders, pain, nutrition and dietetics and interventional pain management. Our site is unique, as it includes a onsite rehabilitation facility and it is located directly across the hall from Anytime Fitness, Balwyn. The combination of our doctors skill and facility allows us to move through a process of diagnosing the source of the patient's pain, treating it, moving on to reconditioning, and then graduating into the gym in a supported way. The last step of moving into the gym has always been the most difficult. But as it is an Anytime fitness, patients can come and do their rehab supervised with us, then go to a local Anytime Fitness close to home to continue on their own. This pathway of care we have labelled Halve Your Pain, Return to Play and Preseason. We are also highly active in research with out research Institute, Metro Pain Research Institute.
