Ballyhoo Hospitality began in 2009, when Ryan and Anna O’Donnell opened Gemini in Chicago with a simple goal: to create a place where people felt genuinely welcome. What started as one neighborhood restaurant grew into something more—a hospitality group rooted in community, connection, and care. Today, Ryan O’Donnell and Jon Farrer lead Ballyhoo with a shared vision: thoughtful growth, real hospitality, and giving back to the neighborhoods they serve.
