The Barbarossa F&B Group was founded in 2004. The company is based in Shanghai and focuses on F&B business development in China market. Developed by the three owners from Hong Kong, the group has the well-known “Barbarossa Restaurant, bar and lounge” situated in the middle of Peoples Park, “Molokai”, a modern interpretation of the Hong Kong cafeteria plus the newly opened “Estado Puro” Spanish Tapas Bar which are both located in Xintiandi. Each location has its own unique style and design and with a keen attention to even the smallest detail, the group ensures a special experience for their customers.
The group’s philosophy is to bring interesting and different ideas to the restaurant scene in China. “We are always looking to do something different” said Michelle Sit, one of the founders of the Barbarossa group, “and we are passionate in introducing new F&B concepts to the ever developing and exciting China market”.
