Barcud Shared Services was created in 2012 by a group of four Welsh large scale voluntary transfer (LSVT) housing organisations seeking a more tailored, cost effective and value adding Internal Audit service. Due to its success and the need to provide services to a wider breadth of organisations, the Members formed Barcud Shared Services Limited, which was incorporated on the 2nd of August 2019. It is overseen by a Board made up of the Company’s Members and is open to new Members.
Barcud Shared Services offers its members the following Shared Services:
· Internal Audit services;
· Training;
· Consultancy and critical friend support; and
· Procurement support.
In addition Astari Ltd, which is a subsidiary of Barcud Shared Services Group offers non members the option to procure Internal Audit and Procurement support.
