ABOUT US: BASE Designs is an interior design firm located in Westville and was founded in 2019 by designer Jodi Hill. As an interior designer, Jodi previously formed part of the design teams at a number of prestigious local and international architectural firms, which has gained her a vast knowledge of design that covers a variety of sectors: Corporate | Residential | Hospitality | Retail | Education | Leisure At BASE Designs, we specialise in interior design, space planning and interior architecture. We find it a great privilege to work directly alongside the client, professional team and the various different contractors from start to finish on each project. OUR PURPOSE: Collaboration | Creativity | Community The mission of BASE Designs is to always collaborate with the client to provide them with a well-designed, well thought out creative space that not only encompasses their needs and wishes but also provides an end result that both the client and the entire design team can be proud of. OUR EXPERIENCE: Our founder and lead designer, Jodi Hill, has worked both internationally and locally for some incredibly talented architectural & design firms: TP Bennett & Woods Bagot in London and Paton Taylor Architects & Dean Jay Architects in Durban. Prior to establishing BASE Designs, over the past 12 years Jodi has played a key role in the interior design teams responsible for producing designs schemes for a variety of clients. These schemes have included concept design presentations, sketch designs, space planning solutions, working drawings, documentation and implementation covering a range of sectors. OUR VISION: At BASE Designs we dream of becoming a firm that is made up of numerous designers, who together build the vision of becoming a well-recognised brand, known for its integrity, creativity, knowledge and passion for design.
