Toastmasters International ( http://www.toastmasters.org ) is the world’s biggest organization that helps its members to become effective speakers and successful leaders – be it in business, at university or for private occasions.
A group of experienced and new Toastmaster-enthusiasts now aims to live the Toastmaster-Philosophy bilingually in Basel, in English and German.
Our new Club “Multilingual Toastmasters of the University of Basel” is a meeting point for people with an interest in rhetoric that come from different backgrounds: English and German speaking, business people and students, Swiss and Expats.
