The long-standing experience and eight decades worth of hard earned knowledge on viniculture render the Bassi family a dynamic player in today's competitive Greek quality wine market.
The company was established in 1925 by a pioneer named Anastassios Bassis. Later, it was passed on to his son Konstantine, who expanded the operation and established a model winery in the area of Avlona, in Attika. This model winery fully utilizes the concept of gravity in wine making.
Today, it is up to Bordeaux-maker Tassos Bassis,chemist-enologist, to continue the viniculture tradition of the renown wine maker family, who is determined to outmatch his father and grandfather by introducing the estate’s first bottled brand.
