Battistella Formaggi is a dairy factory located in the area of Treviso. It yields fame for its different types of cheeses with particular focus and attention to refined products.
Since the postwar period, the activity whithin the dairy industry, for the Battistella family, has not only been a job, but a real commitment to hold the pride in delivering their passion, to the tables of hundreds of households around the world.
"Our long story starts right in the postwar period, when the region's economy was principally relying on agricolture." It's in that period that Angelo Battistella jumped on his bicycle and rode miles and miles, moving from one house to the other, delivering the precious products of the very few creameries operating along the Piave river.
This activity evolved into a new dimention with the introduction of "Balilla", the first ever fuel-powered vehicle, which allowed to operate along longer routes, in less time, and with higher capacity.
Around 1950, Alfio (founder of Battistella Formaggi), started a cooperation with his father, who shared some precious lessons that he kept over the years, to then spread them whithin the following generations.
Alfio, along with his wife, Bianca, started then experimenting different tecniques. By all, the affination, a process that saw huge improvement not only with their practice and dedication over the years, but also with the introduction of his sons, Sandro and Daniela, to the business.
For over 40 years, Battistella Formaggi has brought evidence of experience, passion, creativity and research, without ever being affected by time.
