About BC Foster Parents Association (BCFPA)

BCFPA is a registered non-profit society which aims to bring together foster parents, social workers and other interested people working to improve the standard of care for children in our province. It provides information to the general public about fostering and offers foster parents opportunities for education, training and professional development. BCFPA provides comprehensive support and referral services to BC’s foster parent community. The BCFPA is structured to facilitate contact with all foster parents in the province. There are Local Associations, Regional Councils and a Board of Directors – all run by volunteers who are elected by BCFFPA’s foster parent membership community.
