Be Free Campaign is a youth-led mental health charity working across Liverpool, the North West, and the Midlands. We tackle mental health inequalities by supporting young people from racialised and marginalised communities to access early, culturally competent, and trauma-informed support.
Our work includes:
• Early intervention programmes in schools and communities, focusing on emotional regulation, identity, and coping strategies
• Youth leadership and co-production, training young people as mental health ambassadors and changemakers
• Creative and culturally rooted outreach, using art, storytelling, and lived experience to reach those often excluded from mainstream support
• System-level influence, shaping local and national policy through research, campaigns, and partnerships with the NHS, local authorities, and national bodies
• Digital innovation, developing accessible self-help tools and apps for young people, parents, and professionals
