There exists a considerable disparity between the number of young individuals actively seeking employment and the limited empowering opportunities accessible to them. Furthermore, a misalignment persists between the skills possessed by young professionals entering the workforce and the requirements of employers. This gap has given rise to BeTechConnected—a vibrant and dynamic tech community committed to empowering young people for the Future of Work. Our mission is to connect job-ready African talents with global tech opportunities. Mode of Operation includes; 1. Training : Collaborate with us on innovative projects, hackathons, and events that drive creativity, solutions, and product development. This includes Skills and Brand development. 2. Mentorship : Guide mentees on the career path, skills training & job selection, Advisory & Consulting, One on One training for community members breaking into tech and Providing direction to community members who want advice on job selection. 3. Recruitment:Hiring for tech companies from the pool of African talents in the community. 4. Tech Opportunities : Jobs (Full time/ Part-time / Internships / Volunteerism), Hackathons, Entrepreneurship that has to do with supporting community members who want to start businesses in the tech space with Business Development Services.
